Important Update Regarding Registration for the College Reach-Out Program

The College Reach-Out Program is no longer accepting application at this time. The only available opennings are grades 7th and 10th, only. If you are in either one of these grades, please contact psneed@usf.edu to request an access code to apply or complete the . If you wish to be put on the waiting list, please email ugs-crop@usf.edu and we will contact you via email to let you know that the portal is now open to apply. 

To ensure a smooth application experience, the online application must be completed at home with the involvement of parents. Please note that your online applicaiton will not be accepted without the submission of all the required documents listed on the the application checklist.

Here are a few important details to keep in mind: 

1. Application Availability: The online application is availble below via the QR code.

2. Parental Involvement: We strongly encourage students to complete the applicaiton process with their parents or guardians to ensure all required information is accurate and all necessary documents are uploaded. 

3. Checklist Compliance: As part of the application process, you will be provided with a detailed checklist of all required documents. It is crucial that every item on this checklist is completed and submitted along with your online application. If your online application is missing any documemnts attached or informaiton is lefted out, it will not be processed. 

4. Technical Support: If you encounter any issues or have questions about the online application, our team will be available to assist you (ugs-crop@usf.edu). Details on how to access support will be provided on the online application page. 

PLEASE READ ALL FOLLOWING REGULATIONS CONCERNING THE CROP PROGRAM REQUIREMNTS 

1. Students must meet one of the following criteria from section A and section B

  • Section A-
    • Currently attends a CEP school that has been designated as a free or reduced lunch.
    • Family receives another form of public assistance such as, but not limited to, supplemental security income or participates in the housing choice voucher program.
    • Orphan or ward of the court with no taxable income.

  • Section B-
    • Student is a first-generation college student; defined as no parent or guardian has earned a bachelor’s degree.
    • Cumulative GPA for preceding academic year is below 2.5 or you received a C or below in a core subject.
    • Achievement level below a 3 in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math on the FAST or on Algebra I EOC assessment the previous academic year.

NOTE: All required documents MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH APPLICATION to receive response. There us an option to upload your documents through the onloine process. 

2. See list below of the four (4) category of information/documents required with submission of CROP application:

  • A completed CROP application with both the applicant and parent signatures. (MUST BE SIGNED)
  • Copy of high school students (9TH – 12TH) transcript and middle school (6 TH _ 8TH) recent report cards acceptable).
  • Documented proof of all services checked on application (e.g., current proof of approved free or reduced lunch).
  • Copy of F.A.S.T. and/or EOC scores in English, Math and Algebra I with application
