ResearchOne
funding for ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵResearch Events
The ResearchOne program—sponsored by ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵResearch & Innovation, in collaboration with our ResearchOne sponsors—provides limited funding to help support research events hosted by ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵcolleges, departments, and faculty. Events considered for funding must have a research component, and engage participation of ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵstudents and/or faculty.
To Apply:
Apply for funding by completing the application form in at least 30 days prior to the date of your event. Funding is limited, so apply early.
In the form, you will be asked to indicate how your event is research-related and specify how students and/or faculty will be involved. If students are participating the event must be open to all ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵstudents at no charge to them.
Note: Applications for events to be held off-campus will be considered on a case-by-case basis. However, on-campus and virtual events will be given priority.
Submitting an application does not guarantee funding.
ELIGIBLE EVENTS
To be considered a ResearchOne event, your event must be research-related (discussing/presenting/showcasing research).
ResearchOne eligible events include the following:
- Speaker/Speaker Series
- Exhibitions (showcasing research)
- Oral or poster presentations (presenting research)
- Seminars (discussing/presenting research)
- Symposia (discussing/presenting research)
- Conferences (held at ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵor in Tampa Bay area)
- Workshops (discussing/presenting/showcasing/research
Instructional activities and regular faculty or departmental meetings are NOT considered ResearchOne events.
ELIGIBLE EXPENSES
ResearchOne funding may be used for event expenses such as:
- Video Production
- Online Livestream Platform
- Printing
- Speaker honoraria and travel
- Supplies
- Advertising
- Poster board rental
Funding may NOT be used for food and beverage, cash awards, award plaques, or promotional items.
MARKETING & BRANDING
If your event is selected for funding, the ResearchOne logo must be included in the event’s branded materials, such as social media, website, posters, invitations, announcements, emails, banners, signs, displays, etc. A link to the logo will be provided in the confirmation of ResearchOne funding for your event.
