Overview
REQUIREMENTS
- Open to all levels (undergraduate, graduate and PhD students)
- Open for students enrolled in all universities and colleges in Florida
- Applicants are required to submit an application and attach the required documents, additional information might be requested.
Application open from: February 28, 2021 to May 5, 2021
Finalist selection date: TBA
This is an individual competition and therefore, the pitch will be performed by the individual who applied and was selected to participate. Teams are welcome to come and support their colleagues.
This program is administered by the 国产短视频's Center for Entrepreneurship, and it will take place at the Muma College of Business (Virtually): Date of live virtual event - May 10, 2021
The Jabil Innovation Technology Challenge
The Jabil Innovation Technology Challenge provides all university and college students in the state of Florida an opportunity to showcase their innovative solutions on selected topics that are currently trending globally.
Themes for the challenge: Supply chain and global logistics, sustainability and global stewardship, health innovation, advance product development, additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analytics.
The application must also include a 5-minute YouTube video covering the following topics:
- Description of the innovation
- What problem the innovation address?
- How is the innovation unique and superior from it's competitors?
- Who are the target customers?
- How will the users benefit from this innovation?
- What is the marketing and distribution plan?
- What are the expected revenue streams?
If selected, students will be invited to the finals. This will be a live virtual pitch where finalists will be required to showcase their entrepreneurial ideas by presenting their innovation to a panel of judges followed by live Q&A.
Awards will be the following: 1st place - $10,000 | 2nd place - $7,000 | 3rd place - $3,000 | Judges Choice Award
