The ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Muma College of Business Thought Leader Series has already established itself as a groundbreaking program that features the major disruptors in the world of business. It’s where students, faculty and outside partners and supporters come to hear the insights of thought leaders from across the nation; whether it’s the congenial banter of Steve Wozniak, the inventor of the Apple computer and a number of other entrepreneurial and philanthropic enterprises, who, in spite of his engineering background revealed a remarkable streak of humanity, or the fascinating story of the formation of Netflix coming from cofounder Marc Randolph, who vowed to topple Blockbuster after the video rental giant scoffed at a merger proposition.

Glimpses of what it’s like to be part of a culture-changing moment are revealed in down-to-earth chats as the series is presented in an informal, conversational format to bring out what is relevant and meaningful to those in attendance.

The series, which is gaining in popularity and momentum, was established to draw nationally recognized speakers, innovators, idea generators, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, authors and "turn-around artists" in business and industry and it has not disappointed as thousands have attended both installments. The annual events are free and open to the public.
