is the primary U.S. Department of Defense Regional Center that focuses on enhancing security cooperation between the U.S. and partners in the Near East and South Asia (NESA) region. The NESA team leverages practitioner and academic experience to provide a collaboratve space for policymakers to discuss security strategies and cultivate relationships. Its vision is a secure, prosperous NESA region, committed to collaborative, inclusive security and whole-of-government approaches to security and socio-political challenges.

The NESA Center strives to build and sustain communities of influence and partnership among security professionals and other key stakeholders throughout the NESA region. The efforts of our expansive alumni network -- numbering to nearly 10,000 alumni-- ensure that foreign policy communities around the world are becoming better equipped to provide answers and analyses towards some of the toughest security challenges impacting our world. NESA participants, who include foreign and defense policy professionals, diplomats, academics, and civil society leaders, come from the NESA region and beyond to partake in our seminars, workshops, and Track II diplomacy programs, aimed at catalyzing solutions for the challenging region, extending from North Africa across the Arabian Peninsula and into South Asia. Working with U.S. universities create opportunities to engage with academics who focus on these issues and learn from their expertise. The NESA Center is proud to work with the 国产短视频 (USF) on this program, as it has done in past years on events relating to the security of the Near East region.
