Honeybees save ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵstudent from allergies, now he’s returning the favor
Kobe Phillips developed a passion for honeybees after finding relief from his severe allergies by eating honey. At USF, Phillips is working on creating pollinator habitats using bio receptive sculptures and he plans to attend graduate school to focus on further developing these designs.

Ryan Shargo has taken advantage of many opportunities at USF. As an incoming freshman, he started his academic journey through the summer Academic and Cultural Engagement Program, in which he traveled to Costa Rica. Shargo later travelled to the Dominican Republic thanks to his Genshaft Global Presidential Scholarship.

Study abroad trip fuels graduate's passion for healthcare equity
It was a study abroad trip to Thailand, through The Judy Genshaft Honors College, that Jeannette Myrick says shifted her perspective on human health. Now, as she approaches graduation, Jeannette plans to help marginalized communities gain access to health care – using all she's gained from ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵto make an impact in the lives of others.

The ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵ System has flourished under President Judy Genshaft. Now, she continues her transformational leadership – this time through a historic gift. President Genshaft and her husband, Steve Greenbaum, have donated $20 million to the ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵFoundation. This marks one of the largest gifts ever made to USF.
