Ƶrecognized by Forbes as one of ‘America’s Dream Employers’

The Ƶ is one of the best places to work in the country, according to the of America’s Dream Employers 2025 recently released by Forbes. Ƶwas the only public or private university in Florida to make the list.

“The Ƶ is committed to being a great place to work, and we are proud to be honored as one of America’s dream employers,” ƵPresident Rhea Law said. “Our team members are the driving force behind USF’s success, and we hope this latest recognition encourages them to continually pursue excellence in their work that enables us to be one of the nation’s leading research universities.”

To create the list, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to survey more than 10,000 college students in the United States and more than 140,000 U.S.-based employees at companies across all sectors that employ at least 1,000 people in the country.

Among the questions, current workers were asked to evaluate their employers based on criteria such as salary, professional development opportunities, workplace flexibility and the ability of employees to express ideas openly. Data from the past three years of Forbes-Statista employee surveys was included. More information on the methodology is available on the .

“We infuse collaboration into everything we do at USF,” said Angie Sklenka, senior vice president and chief human resources and administrative officer. “Every team member shapes our culture, community and work ethic. It is an honor to be recognized by students and employees for our effort to make Ƶa great workplace."

Earlier this year, Forbes named Ƶas one of the highest-ranked employers in Florida and as the top public university. Forbes also consistently ranks Ƶhighly for its academic excellence and value, including No. 41 among public universities in 2024, up 22 spots from the previous year.
