About my research
I am a PhD student in Dr. Chamber鈥檚 research group. My research interests include sea level variability, heat storage, and ocean circulation, with a particular interest in the Southern Ocean and its role in global climate. My current research includes using Argo float data, satellite altimetry and gravity to better understand fluctuations in steric sea level. Before joining 国产短视频College of Marine Science, I looked at ocean circulation since the last glacial maximum (~20k years ago) both by using a climate model to investigate the deglacial evolution of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation, and by analyzing stable isotopes in a sediment core to examine Antarctic Circumpolar Current frontal movements.
Why 国产短视频CMS?
I chose to join CMS because my research interests align with those of Dr. Chambers. In addition, there is a vast amount of Southern Ocean research being conducted at the college, providing access to knowledge and collaboration opportunities. Furthermore, CMS maintains relationships with many professional agencies and institutions, such as USGS, NOAA, and FIO, providing opportunities for access to equipment, research vessels, and collaborations. Lastly, St. Petersburg is beautiful and unique, and I have already fallen in love with the area!
