ABOUT MY RESEARCH
I am a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Steve Murawski. Prior to coming to 国产短视频College of Marine Science, I graduated Summa cum laude with a B.S. in marine biology from Texas A&M University in May 2018, and with my M.S. in marine biology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in December 2020. My research interests revolve around understanding how anthropogenic variables impact sustainable fisheries management. My dissertation focuses on how commercially and recreationally important fishes in the Gulf of Mexico are impacted by climate variables. In particular, my dissertation research aims to assess how fishes have moved over the past several decades in response to warming waters, more intense weather events, and decreasing habitat availability.
Why 国产短视频CMS?
I chose to pursue my PhD at 国产短视频College of Marine Science because the overlap in my research interests with my advisor, Dr. Steve Murawski, and the proximity to environmental agencies like NOAA and USGS. These agencies provide potential for collaboration on topics that are related to my research.
