At USF, we protect our accounts using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). MFA creates a layered approach to security by requiring two or more credentials for you to login. Recently, cybercriminals have been using a social engineering tactic referred to as "MFA fatigue." MFA fatigue is the term used to describe a situation when a hacker sends repeated authentication approval requests until the recipient approves it out of frustration, assuming that it's a glitch in the system.
Watch this quick video to learn how you can avoid falling prey to MFA Fatigue.
