COPH holds Length of Service ceremony honoring 32 people for a combined 450 years of service

(COPH) Dean welcomed students, staff, faculty and others to the Sam Bell Auditorium on Nov. 17 to celebrate the 32 COPH staff members and faculty who reached anniversary milestones in 2023.

All told, the group has served the college for a whopping 450 years.

, a COPH professor and director of the , Judy Sommers, a fiscal and business administration manager, and June Lake, the assistant dean of human resources, each marked their 35th year at the college. Associate Professor, Marilyn Meridia, Florida Family AIDS Network program administrator, and , director of each celebrated their 25th anniversary with the university.

COPH Professor and Miranda Sloan, a graduate concentration advisor, were recognized for their two decades of service to the college.

Those celebrating 15-year anniversaries included Drs. , and as well as Melissa Lee and Annette Strzelecki. Those lauded for their 10-years of service were: Samantha Barnes, Ashley Dixon, Paola Engracia and

Fifteen people in all were celebrated for their five years with college, including: Elaine Alderman, , Alejandro Fernandez, Christiana Fries, Paige Hunt, Drs. ,   and as well as Nicole Pelligrino, Kathleen Pope, Estefania Rubio, Sheri-Lee Shakes and Drs. , and .

Afterward, staff, faculty and friends gathered in the COPH lobby to celebrate their colleagues and their various milestone work anniversaries!
