As we close out 2024, I would like to thank everyone in our ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵHealth community for your hard work and dedication. I am deeply grateful to those of you who went above and beyond to meet the needs of our patients, students and facilities during and after this fall’s hurricanes. I am proud of the strength and resilience shown by our USF Health community when so many of you faced personal challenges amidst storm damages and flooding – and just kept going.
Still, as we look back on this year, I hope that what you will remember most is not the hurricanes, but the many successes that we celebrated across ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵHealth. We made fabulous research gains, recruited prominent new faculty members and incredibly gifted students, and opened wonderful new spaces that will help us drive innovation and creativity for years to come. I hope you will pause for a few minutes and enjoy our ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵHealth holiday video – and then join me in applauding the fine work of you and your colleagues.
I wish you a peaceful and joyful winter break with family and friends. I look forward to seeing you again next year to rejoin our commitment to Making Life Better.
