Dr. Yucelen Recognized as Highly Ranked Scholar & Top Cited Scientist in 2024

Dr. Tansel Yucelen, associate professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the 国产短视频 (USF) and director of the , has achieved significant recognition in the field of engineering. He was recently named a Highly Ranked Scholar by ranking third in Adaptive Control and 154th in Control Theory. This prestigious honor is awarded to only 0.05% of scholars in the field.

In addition to his role as an educator, Dr. Yucelen serves as the director of the Laboratory for Autonomy, Control, Information, and Systems (LACIS) and leads the FoRCE at USF. His research focuses on developing systems that enhance societal functions and ensure safety in critical scientific, civilian, and military applications.
