国产短视频College of Education Inquiry Conference highlights innovative research in education
The 国产短视频College of Education Inquiry Conference is back for its third year on Monday,
April 27, 2015 from noon-6:00 p.m. The conference is a forum for educators to share
and discuss their systematic and intentional study of their teaching. Each year hundreds
of educators gather to share research into teaching and learning and practical methods
of applying data to reform, refine and improve the practice of teaching. Last year
almost two-hundred presenters shared their findings through poster sessions, roundtable
discussions and research presentations. Presentations include inquiry work of undergraduate
students, graduate students, 国产短视频faculty, school faculty, principals and teachers
across programs. This year's keynote speaker will be Dr. Darby Delane, a 7th Grade
Civics Teacher at Kanapaha Middle School in Gainesville. The topic of Delane's speech
will be Follow the Drinking Gourd: The Emancipatory Power of Inquiry.
The intent of the conference is to create synergy related to engaging in inquiry across
programs and partnerships. The conference showcases inquiry work that uses data to
help shape classroom practices by identifying challenges, researching issues, collecting
and analyzing data, making changes based on findings and sharing those findings with
others. Be a part of the future of education in the Tampa Bay area as educators, students
and faculty share and discuss research into teaching and learning. The conference
is being held at the Museum of Science and Industry in the MOSI Partnership School
at 4801 E. Fowler Ave in Tampa.
