Fawn Ngo, PhD, an associate professor in the Department of Criminology, was elected to the board of directors of the Communications Coordination Committee of the United Nations (CCCUN). As a member at large, Ngo will work with board members to organize sessions and panels and attend UN meetings and events. She will serve in this position until August 2026.
The mission of CCCUN is to facilitate the interchange of information among civil society organizations, the UN, and the public in order to promote more profound understanding of world problems, their effective solutions, and rapid implementation.
