Dr. Catherine Rogers earned a B.A. in English and French from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, a Baccalaureate in Linguistics from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium and a Ph.D. in Linguistics and Cognitive Science from Indiana University. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Speech Perception and Production in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences at The Ohio State University, before coming to the 国产短视频 in 1999 She currently serves as co-director of the Undergraduate Program for the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Dr. Rogers' research focuses on the development of proficiency in second-language speech perception and production under a variety of listening and speaking conditions. She also collaborates with colleagues in in Audiology in research examining speech perception by listeners with hearing impairment and/or cochlear implants. These two research themes are unified by her broader interest in speech perception and production under conditions of linguistic or cognitive challenge.
