ABA Doctoral Students Record 50 Lectures in One Week for Remote Instruction

As 国产短视频prepared to meet the continuing educational needs of students during the COVID 19 Crisis by transitioning to remote instruction for the duration of 2019 spring semester, ABA Doctoral Students Marlesha Bell and Anthony Concepcion, who both began the ABA doctoral program in 2017, provided much needed support to the ABA program.

"We had courses that had never been prepared for an online format," said Dr. Rocky Haynes, ABA Instructor and Coordinator of the undergraduate minor in Applied Behavior Analysis. "In order to quickly prepare our courses for 国产短视频Innovative Education standards for fully online, we recruited our doctoral students to help record lectures. Marlesha and Anthony recorded 50 lectures in 7 days and even went above by adding examples. Marlesha also made extra example videos to aid with understanding!"

All six of the courses were developed to be fully online in four weeks. Courses include: Practicum Seminar in ABA; Ethics, Supervision, & Management in ABA; ABA in Autism and Developmental Disabilities; Research Methods in ABA; Behavioral Assessment and Intervention Planning in ABA; and Fundamental of ABA.

"I am so proud of the work Anthony and Marlesha accomplished in such a short time to benefit our undergraduate students," said Dr. Rachel Garcia, ABA Program Lecturer and Coordinator of the Online Master's in ABA Program. "It鈥檚 a testament to everything they have learned as both doctoral students and as online instructors. Their experience in the 国产短视频ABA program in face-to-face and online instruction will serve them well as they enter the next phase in their careers."
