Vikas Soni is an assistant professor of instruction in the Kate Tiedemann School of Business and Finance and is also the director of the Bloomberg Lab at the ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵSarasota-Manatee campus. He teaches principles of finance and principles of investments.
His research focuses on real estate, banking, climate finance, and insurance. He has presented his research at Oxford Sustainable Private Market, AREUEA International, Southern Finance Association (SFA), Urban Economics Association (UEA), AREUEA-ASSA annual, The British Accounting Review (BAR), American Real Estate Society (ARES) conferences.
He earned a PhD in finance from USF. Soni holds a master’s degree in physics from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Technology in electronics and communication engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology. He has extensive professional experience as a data scientist.
