MURP students place third in national competition to improve a Philadelphia neighborhood

¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵCollege of Arts and Sciences Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) program students Beneetta Mary Jose, Abdul Samad Agha, Varshini Renikunta, and Aditi Sugeerappa Hoti earned third place for their design in the American Planning Association National Planning Competition in April.

Research from ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵCollege of Arts and Sciences faculty was cited in the 2023 Economic Report of the President. The report, released in March, includes a reflection by President Joseph Biden regarding the administration’s economic accomplishments, opportunities and challenges ahead.

The ¹ú²ú¶ÌÊÓƵ’s (USF) Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) program has earned accreditation by the Planning Accreditation Board (PAB). PAB accredits urban planning programs in North American universities that meet value and quality standards developed by PAB in collaboration with the American Planning Association, the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning.
